Uriah Heep – Easy Livin’

I will be seeing these guys on Friday.  I imagine the crowd will be fairly small and mellow since their popularity in the states was more of a cult following after their radio songs played out.  Still they had some good tunes back in the day.

Tik Tok Call of Duty Version

Students I had from last year put together this video for a class in film. The did everything except for the music.  It is encoded beautifully and is probably one of the best things I have seen from a bunch of high school kids – great job! Since I had to reduce the size [...]

Fiona Boyes

Australian Blues Lady  – Amazing!

Sine wave synthesizer

I couldn’t stop playing with this:
Simple sinewave synthesizer triggered by an ordinary 16step sequencer. Each triggered step causes a force on the underlaying wave-map, which makes it more cute.

Get Up/ Stand Up

I lost interest in the stones years ago.  Some Girls was the last album of any worth;  I do like this video of them playing a classic Marley song.

John Lennon – Stand by me

Leningrad Cowboys: Sweet Home Alabama

I’m Speechless

TV Intros

Your favorite TV intros –   there are even some super old ones.
I rarely watch TV.  Its not the shows I hate,  although that’s part of it;  its mostly the constant barrage of advertisements.  I do think a good intro is important so here are two of my favorites – I could only find the [...]

The Stinkfoot

Here is a video of Zappa performing “Stinkfoot”.
I played the Apostrophe album so much as a teen I wore a hole through the grooves. It was one of those albums that I could sing every lyric. I could put on the album, walk out and get the mail and be perfectly in synch [...]

Heart 1976

I love Nancy Wilson’s guitar solo that kicks off this song.

Linda Ronstandt – It doesn’t matter any more
