Another picture taken with the color accent feature – see the blue hikers on the right side. Only the color blue is supposed to show in the shot. I wanted to change it to green but by the time figured out how to do it, the trip was over.

I used the color swap feature on my camera to swap out the greens and replace them with blue – surreal effect.

I had the color accent on to accent only blue. This turned out pretty well but the depth of field was wrong. If the mountain was clear, this would have been a great photo.

When there is nobody around to take a picture of the family, you just find a rock, balance the camera and set the timer. This didn’t turn out quite as well as I hoped.

Well it isn’t really complete; it needs a lot of tweeking and fixing but I am not going to work on it any more. I need to move on and learn some more about 3D max - cameras, materials, lighting, etc…. This has been a good project and it came together better than I expected considering I was a complete novice just a few weeks ago. Max is fun and there is so much to learn. I doubt I will get bored with it anytime soon.

We saw these two illusionist – magic with a Christian twist – on our trip to Colorado. They were amazing. We saw them two different times with a completely different show each time. They also conducted a workshop for the kids where they taught them some simple tricks and illusions. These two performers do great things and I think they will rise to the top of their profession in a hurry – great stuff and very nice people.
