Here is my third in a series of animated chess moves. This project is enabling me to learn more about 3D max – the god software I will be teaching next semester. Today I made an effort to refine the lighting, materials and camera moves on my chessboard. It is looking better and not a bad effort for my first ever 3D modeling and animation project. I can see that it takes years to get really good with all the options and systems on this software.
I tried modeling the knight – again – but it looked really bad, so I gave up and will have to start over – again. The next move involves the knight, so I have to finish it.
