Yes I am still working on animating a chess game. I finally modeled the knight and I am not real pleased with the result but you can’t see the modeling mistakes in the animation. I played with animating the camera some more and it is really hard to manipulate it just right to get the proper angle. I need lots more practice.
3D max is fun. I have enjoyed doing this project. The best way to learn software is not through tutorials but in doing something practical. I could have watched tutorials and followed along with some book but the real learning doesn’t occur until you actual do something. I am going to finish this up and post the final final video before I go on vacation.
I like the knights — kinda unicorny.
